The unsteady cat was thrilled to welcome a three-legged kitten into the family and vowed to never be separated from their new furry friend.
Kayla from Salem Friends of Felines in Oregon was smitten with a kitten named Bibby, who had a wobbly gait due to a damaged front leg. Despite becoming a tripod cat at just two months old, Bibby never lost his cheerful demeanor and only craved affection. Kayla couldn’t help but fall in love with the resilient little feline who captured her heart in an instant.
Kayla stumbled upon Bibby outside a residence, limping on one leg. Upon returning to work on Monday, she found the adorable kitten sleeping on her lap for most of the day. Kayla couldn’t shake off the resemblance Bibby had to her own wobbly cat, Mr. Beesley. By Tuesday, she knew she had to bring Bibby home, and she could not be happier with her decision.
Despite losing one leg, Mr. Beesley’s life was spared. He may have Cerebellar Hypoplasia, but this doesn’t get in the way of his spirited nature. When Bibby came into the picture, the wobbly cat was excited to make his acquaintance. Kayla shared with Love Meow how Bibby and Mr. Beesley had their first meeting through the door, eagerly reaching out their paws to connect.
Kayla welcomed Bibby into her home with open arms, excited to have him as her new lap companion. As soon as Bibby arrived, Kayla’s other cat, Mr. Beesley, was eager to meet the new addition. Instead of hissing or growling, the two cats quickly hit it off and began playing together through the door. Bibby was thrilled to have found a loving home and a new feline friend in Mr. Beesley.
Bibby and Mr. Beesley hit it off right away, becoming fast pals. Kayla wanted to make sure they were properly introduced, so she left the door slightly ajar and placed Bibby in a carrier. You can see the adorable moment they met in the following video:
As soon as Mr. Beesley entered the room with confident meows, he spotted the tiny, fluffy Bibby in the carrier.
Kayla observed closely as the carrier was carefully inspected, waiting for the moment their noses would meet. Once the door was opened, Bibby welcomed his friend with affectionate head bumps and soothing purrs.
During their initial supervised playtime, they immediately began exploring each other’s scents, bonding through grooming and nose-to-nose interactions.
Wherever Bibby goes, you can bet that Mr. Beesley is sure to follow close behind. According to Kayla, Mr. Beesley absolutely adores playing with Bibby, sometimes even becoming a bit too enthusiastic and not letting Bibby have a moment’s rest. Together, they have a blast running around the house and chasing after anything that catches their eye. They happily take turns with their toys, watching each other play and having a great time together.
They enjoy playing and roughhousing together. Kayla doesn’t seem to be bothered by her older brother’s enthusiastic energy. When they both need a break, Bibby will snuggle up on Kayla’s lap for a nap. “I adore how Mr. B. simply observes Bibby with a smile and a purr. It’s absolutely adorable. They are excellent at taking turns when they both feel like playing.”
Bibby shared his first festive season with his older sibling, Kayla. Despite being from different parents, the brothers not only bear a resemblance to each other but also have a harmonious bond that complements each other flawlessly.

From now on, the adorable little boy will constantly have a companion to play, race around the house, and enjoy watching TV together on a daily basis.
